Le SpaceBus France est une caravane aménagée en station spatiale qui parcourt les routes de France pour faire découvrir l’astronomie au grand public. Pour cela, il s’arrête chaque jour sur une place publique différente et propose aux promeneurs des animations d’astronomie afin d’expliquer la vie dans l’espace. Escape game, ateliers, rencontres avec des astronomes et observations du Soleil en journée et du ciel la nuit seront au programme !
L’équipe du SpaceBus étant majoritairement féminine, nous souhaitons également mettre en avant le rôle et la place des femmes dans la science. Des ateliers et conférences sur la mixité dans les sciences et l’égalité femmes/hommes auront lieu.
Finalement, l’étude de l’ISS nous permettra d’aborder l’étude de la Terre grâce aux satellites et notamment le réchauffement climatique. Le SpaceBus soulignera l'importance que chacun soit sensibilisé à la protection de notre environnement, rappelant ainsi le rôle bénéfique de la science pour mieux comprendre notre planète.
Pour sa première édition, le SpaceBus France parcourra la côte méditerranéenne du 31 juillet au 24 août 2018.
