The Epoch Times was born out of a great need to provide uncensored news to a people immersed in propaganda in Communist China. Having personally witnessed events like the Tiananmen Square massacre and the persecution of Falun Gong, a group of Chinese Americans started publishing The Epoch Times in the Chinese language in the United States.

Since then, our focus has expanded internationally to 36 countries and 22 languages, reaching over 60 million people monthly.
