Reconnue d'intérêt général, Trisomie 21 France est une fédération qui rassemble plus de 60 associations en France et Outre-mer qui agissent concrètement sur le terrain pour que l'école, l'emploi, la santé, les loisirs et tous les environnements, soient accessibles à tous, avec ou sans handicap.
La fédération soutient les enfants et adultes avec trisomie 21 ou différence intellectuelle et les aide à participer à la vie sociale, comme tout le monde.
Elle favorise la démarche d’autodétermination et d’auto-représentation des personnes avec une trisomie 21 ou une différence intellectuelle et les soutiennent dans l’exercice, à liberté égale, de leurs droits citoyens.
