Created in 1986, Altigliss is an association of Grenoble Ecole de Management which organizes each year the student ski and snowboard world cup: the GEM Altigliss Challenge.
This event brings together for one week more than 1000 participants from 25 nationalities in the exceptional resort of Val d'Isère where students compete over 3 challenges: skiing, village and mountain.
> The ski challenge is the essential competition of the GEM Altigliss Challenge. In association with the Val d'Isère sports club, the best national and international student skiers compete in conditions similar to the real Ski World Cup around events such as giant slalom, special slalom, boarder cross, big air and parallel slalom.
> The mountain challenge is a young and innovative challenge which offers sensational sporting activities in the heart of the mountain, in the magnificent ski area of Val d’Isère. Teams compete in events such as biathlon, orienteering or the ABC challenge. Each year, new, unique events are created.
> The village challenge is the challenge of atmosphere, good humor and of course... madness! Around fifteen teams of 5 participants each compete in events, each more crazy than the last, such as the obstacle course, snake gliss, snow golf... and many others.
Finally, the association wants to be full of new projects, notably the organization of disabled sports and sustainable development trophies in order to make the GEM Altigliss Challenge an eco-friendly event open to all.
The passion of the 60 members, the continual questioning of previous editions and the audits carried out on the association have raised Altigliss to the rank of leading student sports association in France in 2016 and 2019.

Créée en 1986, Altigliss est une association de Grenoble Ecole de Management qui organise chaque année la coupe du monde étudiante de ski et de snowboard : le GEM Altigliss Challenge.
Cet évènement regroupe durant une semaine plus de 1000 participants issus de 25 nationalités dans la station d’exception de Val d’Isère où les étudiants s’affrontent autour de 3 challenges : ski, village et montagne.
> Le challenge ski est la compétition incontournable du GEM Altigliss Challenge. En association avec le club des sports de Val d’Isère, les meilleurs skieurs étudiants nationaux et internationaux s'affrontent dans des conditions similaires à la véritable coupe du monde de Ski autour d'épreuves telles que le slalom géant, le slalom spécial, le boarder cross, le big air et le slalom parallèle.
> Le challenge montagne est un challenge jeune et innovant qui propose des activités sportives sensationnelles au cœur de la montagne, sur le magnifique domaine skiable de Val d’Isère. Les équipes participent à des épreuves telles que le biathlon, la course d'orientation ou le défi ABC. Chaque année, de nouvelles épreuves inédites sont créées.
> Le challenge village est le challenge de l’ambiance, de la bonne humeur et bien évidemment ... de la folie ! Une quinzaine d’équipes de 5 participants chacune s’affrontent sur des épreuves plus délirantes les unes que les autres comme le parcours du combattant, le snake gliss, le snow golf ... et bien d’autres.
Enfin, l'association se veut pleine de nouveaux projets avec notamment l’organisation de trophées handisport et développement durable afin de faire du GEM Altigliss Challenge un évènement eco-friendly et ouvert à tous.
La passion des 60 membres, la remise en question continuelle des éditions précédentes et les audits réalisés sur l'association ont hissé Altigliss au rang de première association sportive étudiante de France en 2016 et 2019.
