UNI -Ente Italiano di Normazione- è un’associazione privata senza scopo di lucro riconosciuta dallo Stato e dall’Unione Europea che elabora e pubblica norme tecniche volontarie (norme UNI) in tutti i settori industriali, commerciali e del terziario
I soci UNI sono imprese, professionisti, associazioni, enti pubblici, centri di ricerca, istituti scolastici e accademici, rappresentanze dei consumatori e dei lavoratori, terzo settore e organizzazioni non governative.
Una piattaforma multi-stakeholder di confronto tecnico unica a livello nazionale, dove le risorse migliori del Paese trovano soluzioni a beneficio di tutti per “fare bene le cose” ma anche per “dare il buon esempio”, con una forma di partecipazione dal basso per un nuovo modello democratico.
UNI elabora e pubblica ogni anno circa 1500 norme che puntano a migliorare le prestazioni, la sicurezza e la qualità di prodotti, servizi, persone e organizzazioni. In tutti i settori della società.
