Founded in 2008 on the initiative of 6 Rhone-Alpes entrepreneurs, with the support of the CCI of Lyon and the DGA (Directorate General of Armament), EDEN is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
The Cluster brings together an ecosystem of around 130 SMEs that total 9,000 jobs and nearly a billion euros in turnover, more than half of which is exported.
Our members cover four complementary areas of activity:
- equipment for aircraft, ships and vehicles;
- detection, protection and surveillance;
- engineering and testing;
- personal protection.
By pooling their know-how and the most innovative technologies, EDEN members offer customized solutions at competitive prices. This community, combining technical expertise and perfect knowledge of the needs of the Defense market, makes the offer of French companies more coherent, both in the civil and military fields.

Fondé en 2008 à l’initiative de 6 entrepreneurs rhônalpins, avec le soutien de la CCI de Lyon et de la DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement), EDEN marque cette année ses dix ans d’existence.
Le Cluster rassemble un écosystème d’environ 130 PME qui totalisent 9 000 emplois et près d’un milliard d’euros de CA dont plus de la moitié à l’export.
Nos adhérents couvrent quatre domaines d'activités complémentaires :

En mutualisant leurs savoir-faire et technologies les plus innovantes, les membres d’EDEN proposent des solutions personnalisées à des prix compétitifs. Cette communauté alliant expertise technique et parfaite connaissance des besoins du marché de la Défense rend plus cohérente l’offre des entreprises françaises, aussi bien dans les domaines civils que militaires.
