Sometimes founders need us to roll up our sleeves, and sometimes they just need space. Mostly we just cheerlead them to do better with what they are already good at. We invest at the paper stage with as much conviction as we have when you have a handful of customers. This has enabled many of our founders to skip the angel round. We have been doing the same thing for the last 14 years.
Our consumer portfolio has companies that have very high network effects, including social networks like Sharechat and marketplaces like Saveo. Our SaaS portfolio has pioneers like Webengage, Fleetx, Vyapar, Pagarbook, and Powerplay. Our online brands create new categories such as Sugar, GIVA, and Coolberg.

Chances are high that, like us, you are a product of the typical Indian middle-class career path. Regardless, you took the flight to accreditation and spent those long years in a big college. You loved your first job - great coffee and free internet - and lots of spare time to formulate plans of how you would change the world. Extra love for you if you did not fall to the social pressures of picking your first job. And now, you believe in ‘Making India Great Again’. You believe in winning by building a great product, not by being the first to raise tons of money. You are a tech-first team, and have ambitions of building a lasting institution.
