ComUE Université Paris Lumières (UPL) was founded in 2014 by the University of Paris 8, the University of Paris Nanterre and the CNRS. ENS Louis-Lumière, INSHEA and around ten world-class museums, cultural and scientific institutions in the Ile-de-France region are associated with it. They contribute to the specificity of the UPL in the Ile-de-France region. The International College of Philosophy (CIPh) became a component of the ComUE in January 2017. Elles contribuent à la spécificité de l’UPL sur le territoire d’Ile-de-France. Le Collège International de Philosophie (CIPh) est devenu une composante de la ComUE en janvier 2017. Notre ComUE comprend également depuis 2016 un « Nouveau Collège d’Etudes Politiques » (NCEP) qui propose une approche transdisciplinaire de la politique. Cet ensemble forme un pôle majeur français dans le domaine des Humanités et Sciences humaines et sociales et, de par sa composition avec ses dimensions muséales, patrimoniales et archivistiques, est unique en France.
