Les voyageurs du Numérique est un projet de l'association Bibliothèques sans frontières.
Dans une société où le numérique est omniprésent, la maîtrise et la compréhension des outils devient un véritable enjeu pour créer les conditions d’une citoyenneté numérique active.
La fracture numérique n’est quasiment plus une question d’accès aujourd’hui, à l’heure des smartphones et du tout connecté. Il s’agit davantage d’une question d’usage. Et le manque de maîtrise des outils et des langues du numérique tend à augmenter, au quotidien, les inégalités sociales et la vulnérabilité.
C’est pourquoi Bibliothèques Sans Frontières mène depuis 2014 un programme visant à accompagner les médiateurs socio-culturels et des bénévoles dans la mise en place d’ateliers d’initiation aux pratiques numériques.
Les Voyageurs Du Numérique c'est une communauté qui sensibilise et les fait réfléchir chacun à ses pratiques des outils numériques, par la réalisation de projets ludiques et créatifs.
