Since its creation in 2012, the Institut Pascal gave birth to a structuring cluster in the field of «Engineering and Systems Sciences» aimed at national and international commitments and with strong link with the socio-economic world.
The scientific heart of this research lab is implemented through four core departments based on disciplinary skills. We bet and believe on the challenge of interdisciplinarity for innovating at the interfaces. The Transversal Program addresses this challenge and de facto proves to be the true bedrock of the Institut Pascal.
The strength of our institute are located at Clermont-Ferrand (direction, Polytech, Sigma, IUT Clermont-Fd), but also at Montluçon (IUT Allier) and le Puy-en-Velay (IUT Le Puy).

Depuis sa création en 2012, l'Institut Pascal a donné naissance à un pôle structurant dans le domaine des « Sciences de l'Ingénierie et des Systèmes » au rayonnement national et international et en lien fort avec le monde socio-économique.
Le cœur scientifique de cette entité est décliné en quatre Axes Thématiques reposant sur des compétences disciplinaires. L'ambition partagée repose sur le pari de l'interdisciplinarité afin d'innover aux interfaces. Elle se traduit par la mise en place du Programme Transversal qui s'avère de facto être le véritable ciment de l'Institut Pascal.
Les forces vives de notre institut sont localisées sur le site clermontois (direction, Polytech, Sigma, IUT de Clermont-Fd) mais aussi sur le site de Montluçon (IUT d'Allier) et du Puy-en-Velay (IUT du Puy).
