Fondation reconnue d'utilité publique, la vocation première de la Fondation MAIF est de financer la recherche pour prévenir les risques qui affectent les personnes et leurs biens et permettre ainsi un meilleur épanouissement de chacun.
Nous nous appuyons sur les compétences des chercheurs, issus de nombreux domaines d’excellence, pour nous accompagner sur les risques naturels, les risques liés à la mobilité ou à la vie quotidienne ainsi que les risques numériques.
De façon plus transversale, la Fondation MAIF accorde un grand intérêt aux recherches sur la sociologie du risque : dans quelles circonstances prend on des risques ? comment changer les comportements ?
Chaque jour, nous relayons les résultats de la recherche avec conviction et humilité, la science nous ayant appris qu’il n’est point de certitude qui ne puisse être remise en cause.
