The National Association of Mediators was founded in 1993 by a group of mediators, at the end of their two-year training at the Mediation Training Institute (IFM).
We are today the largest mediation association in France, bringing together in mainland France and overseas more than 800 members, practicing independent, general mediation (family, judicial, conventional, consumer, etc.)

L’Association Nationale des Médiateurs a été fondée en 1993 par un groupe de médiateurs, à l’issue de leur formation de deux ans à l’Institut de Formation à la Médiation (IFM).
Nous sommes aujourd'hui la plus importante association de médiation en France, regroupant en métropole et outre mer plus de 800 adhérents, pratiquant une médiation indépendante, généraliste ( familiale, judiciaire, conventionnelle, de consommation ... )
Profondément attachés à la place de l'homme et du citoyen, nous développons des partenariats avec l'Université (Lyon II en est un bel exemple), soutenons les grandes causes nationales (Singa, accueil des migrants) et sommes ouverts à l'international (IMEF - Institut de Médiation dans l'Espace Francophone)
Lieu de rencontre et d’échanges pour des médiateurs formés à la médiation, nous offrons à nos adhérents un espace de réflexion et d’entraide pour développer la médiation indépendante comme profession dans tous les secteurs de la société. Nous offrons à tous, débutants ou chevronnés de la médiation, un suivi régulier de leurs pratiques.
