La Comunidad Española de Pacientes con Mieloma Múltiple (CEMMP) es una asociación no lucrativa creada por y para las personas que conviven con el mieloma múltiple.
Desde su fundación en 2015, trabajamos cada día para fortalecer la voz de los pacientes con mieloma y sus familiares. Nuestra misión principal es ofrecer información, sensibilizar y fomentar la investigación para mejorar su calidad de vida. Somos la voz de los pacientes y de sus familiares.
El Mieloma Múltiple es un cáncer de la médula ósea, que, por ahora, no tiene cura, pero sí un tratamiento que permite tener largos períodos de remisión. Está considerado como una enfermedad rara.
En España hay alrededor de 12.000 pacientes con unos 2.000 nuevos casos al año.
