Thanks to a policy put in place by company CEO (and ERT Vice-Chair), Dr Ilham Kadri, 284 fathers and all mothers have benefited from Syensqo’s 16-week fully-paid parental leave policy since 2021. Offering 100% salary coverage and local benefits, it supports all parents—regardless of gender—by helping balance careers and family life.
What’s the impact? Fathers have built stronger bonds with their newborns and have made lasting changes in their involvement at home. Employee surveys show high satisfaction, with many expressing pride in working for a company that prioritises family.
It’s more than just a policy — it’s a commitment to gender equity and a truly inclusive workplace.

Holocaust Remembrance Day 🕯️
Today, we reflect on the Holocaust and honour those who were lost, standing with survivors and their families.
In remembering this history, we reaffirm the importance of education and compassion in challenging prejudice and fostering a more united future.
80 years on, there continues to be a moral duty to stand up against hatred, injustice and discrimination in all forms. We must not shy away from difficult conversations, for history has taught us that silence is not neutrality.
