O Porto Digital é um dos principais parques tecnológicos do Brasil, considerado três vezes (2007, 2011 e 2015) pela Anprotec o melhor parque tecnológico / habitat da inovação no país.

O trabalho Porto Digital envolve duas atividades fortemente baseadas em conhecimento e inovação:

• Software e serviços de tecnologia de informação e comunicação
• Economia criativa, especialmente nos campos de jogos, cinema, vídeo, animação, música, design e fotografia.

Atualmente, o Porto Digital abriga mais de 340 empresas e instituições, incluindo incubadoras de empresas, aceleradoras, instituição de ensino superior e institutos de pesquisa.

As empresas do Porto Digital geraram receita de cerca de R$ 2,8 bilhões e empregam mais de 13.500 pessoas em 2020.

O parque também sedia algumas empresas internacionais como Accenture e Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, além de todo um ecossistema de startups e empresas de TIC e Economia Criativa.

Porto Digital Technology Park is one of the main technology parks in Brazil. Considered three times (2007, 2011 and 2015) by the National Association of Organizations Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec) the best technology park/ habitat of innovation in the country.

Porto Digital work involves two activities heavily based on knowledge and innovation:

• Software and information and communications technology services
• Creative economy, especially in the fields of gaming, cinema, video, animation, music, design and photography.

Currently, Porto Digital is home to more than 340 businesses and institutions, including business incubators, accelerators, higher education institution and research institutes.

The companies in Porto Digital generate revenues of around US$ 550 million and employ more than 13,500 people. The park is also home of some international companies such as Accenture and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, with an ecossystem of startups, IT companies and Creative Economy enterprises.
