Description
  • Value proposition

We provide hospital and community services to people who live in west Suffolk.

West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (WSFT) provides hospital and community health care services to the population of west Suffolk. We are an associate teaching hospital of the University of Cambridge, serving a predominantly rural geographical area of roughly 600 square miles with a population of around 280,000.

In addition to the main West Suffolk Hospital, we employ staff in a number of community-based locations across Suffolk, including Newmarket Community Hospital. Working collaboratively with community services enables us to assist with reducing pressure across the NHS system, providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

We work hard to make the West Suffolk Hospital and our community services a great place to work.
