J.P. van Eesteren is one of the largest utility builders in the Netherlands. It all started in 1936 with the construction of De Kuip. J.P. van Eesteren is één van de grootste utiliteitsbouwers van Nederland. Het begon allemaal in 1936 met de bouw van De Kuip. Daarna volgden het Erasmus MC en de Euromast in Rotterdam. Maar ook verbouwingen van de Tweede Kamer en het vernieuwde Rijksmuseum staan op ons cv. Onlangs realiseerden we o.a. het duurzame hotel QO Amsterdam en de iconische A'DAM Toren. Op dit moment werken we o.m. aan één van de grootste bouwprojecten van Nederland: European Patent Office (EPO) in Rijswijk. Maar bijvoorbeeld ook aan de duurzame renovatie en uitbreiding voor de Goede Doelen Loterijen, het nieuwe kantoor voor Triodos Bank en project Little C aan de Coolhaven in Rotterdam.
Onze onderhoudsafdeling zorgt bovendien voor totaaloplossingen voor de gehele levensduur van een gebouw. Bestaande gebouwen blijven in optimale conditie door onze gedetailleerde onderhoudsplannen voor 10, 20 of soms wel 30 jaar. J.P. van Eesteren is dus als een bouwregisseur in elk stadium van het bouwproces in te schakelen: van ontwerp tot aan onderhoud.
Gebouwen slimmer maken, dáár draait het bij J.P. van Eesteren om. De gebouwen die wij realiseren hebben allen een zeer hoog bouw-IQ. Gebouwen die probleemloos 100 jaar meegaan in dezelfde functie, maar even goed na 10 jaar geheel of gedeeltelijk van functie wisselen. Of straks misschien wel na 25 jaar worden gedemonteerd waarna alle materialen worden hergebruikt. Gebouwen met veel technisch vernuft, maar die ook juist heel duurzaam zijn. Maar ook de manier waarop we bouwen is belangrijk. Logistiek gezien is bouwen altijd een uitdaging. Neem nou een verbouwing in een lopend ziekenhuis of het bouwen van de Markthal in hartje Rotterdam. Bij deze projecten stel je altijd de vraag: hoe kan een gebouw optimaal gebouwd worden zonder dat de omgeving en het milieu daar hinder van ondervinden? Kijk, dát is nou gebouwen slimmer maken.
