Er vernetzt Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Zivilgesellschaft, entwickelt gemeinsam Ideen und stößt politische Reformen an. In seinem Wirken konzentriert er sich auf zwei Handlungsfelder: Bildung und Kompetenzen sowie Kollaborative Forschung und Innovation.
