[Automatic translation follows] Together, we can make it easier to live healthy lives.
C3 Collaborating for Health (C3) is a London-based charity with a global focus that counters the chronic non-communicable disease (NCD) epidemic by focusing on the main risk factors. The four big chronic diseases are cardiovascular disease, diabetes, many cancers and chronic lung disease.
C3 does this by bringing together different communities to create changes that make it easier for people to:
- improve what they eat and drink,
- stop using tobacco, and
- do more physical activity.
C3’s vision is for a world where people are not dying from preventable chronic diseases because they find it easier to live healthy lives.
Collaboration is integral to C3’s work: we partner with industries overlooked by traditional public health approaches because we recognises that no individual sector can successfully reduce chronic disease. To date C3 has partnered with over 80 organisations through its network of 3,000 experts across the world.
In 2017, Sigma Theta Tau International awarded C3 its internationally-renowned Archon Award for exceptional leadership in advancing health in the world.
Our programmes focus on:
- working with businesses,
- improving workplace health,
- engaging health professionals to be healthy lives champions,
- partnering with communities to make their environments more healthy using our innovative mobile app, CHESS,
- facilitating dynamic networking events, including our very popular International Breakfast Seminars.

A fantastic day meeting with our @InterregASPIRE partners discussing the project so far and what the future looks like. And what a pleasure it was visiting @AspireKent and BeChange. The highlight for me was getting to see the #growyourown initiative, where members of the #community #grow , #eat , and #sell the produce, and getting to sample some of the seasonal menu made with the produce they've grown. Enjoy the mini tour
