Le SIMV représente les entreprises qui fabriquent et mettent sur le marché français des médicaments et diagnostics destinés aux animaux de compagnie et d’élevage. Il est l’ADN commun à l’ensemble de notre industrie, au cœur de nombreuses interactions.
Afin de contribuer à la compétitivité de ses entreprises adhérentes, le SIMV, qui compte 41 laboratoires, définit sa création de valeurs par ses métiers :
• Fédérer les entreprises autour de projets communs,
• Anticiper, afin de proposer des stratégies collectives en réponse aux attentes de la société (veille stratégique),
• Conseiller/former/informer ses adhérents dans ses domaines d’intervention grâce à une équipe permanente ainsi qu'un réseau d'experts issus des laboratoires,
• Observer le respect des engagements des adhérents, notamment en matière de déontologie (Guide des bonnes pratiques de communication, de pratiques commerciales, de formation en matière de médicament vétérinaire),
• Représenter les positions de ses adhérents dans son environnement décisionnel.
