GlobeXChange 2025 owes me nothing!
So grateful I had a chance to volunteer and see what my old team members were able to bring to life. The Globe Team and its partners continue to raise the bar for what authentic integration and amplification of sustainability and inclusion looks like!

From the Ministerial remarks, to the immersive artistic displays and intimate fireside chats, GlobeXChange was the perfect place to knowledge share and connect with purpose driven individuals!

Incredibly proud of you all and looking forward to seeing what movements are born from these incredible 3 days!

Thanks to the GLOBE Series team for an incredible #GLOBExCHANGE 2025. For many of us, the past few months have felt difficult. My key takeaway is a feeling of re-inspiration from being among passionate, dedicated people who are working towards a regenerative, resilient, net-zero future.

As was said a few times over the conference, just remember, no good book ever ended with: And then they gave up.

What an incredible three-day experience at the GLOBE Series this week! The event brought together leaders from various industries for discussions around sustainability and action on climate change, with amazing networking opportunities and insightful workshops. 🌍

I had the chance to connect with fellow CBSR Fellowship cohort members in person, which was invigorating. The snow couldn’t stop us from diving into the important conversations we’re all here to drive forward! ❄️

A special thank you to the organizers for pulling this all together and fostering an environment where we can learn, grow, and be inspired by some of the most passionate change-makers in sustainability.

Some highlights:

👉🏽 Paul Polman shared powerful stats that the market’s direction is clear, with $2 trillion investment in clean energy for 2024 (a 30% increase since 2022). Also, 7,171 companies have set science-based targets, and 3,708 have committed to net-zero goals.

👉🏽 One Dress: PLANET by Stop Ecocide International was on exhibit as a groundbreaking collaborative couture project. It reimagines fashion by showing how pollution can be recycled and transformed into beauty, challenging traditional consumption and inspiring creative solutions for change. https://lnkd.in/gGTxRjtS.

👉🏽 Indira Moudi, CEO of Viades Lafrance, shared her inspiring journey from engineering to transforming the food industry by creating higher standards for sustainable protein. She is truly a global leader for sustainable food and energy, creating a better future for generations to come.

👉🏽 Dazawray Landrie-Parker emphasized that "Indigenous communities are the true pioneers of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles," and Tracy Primeau, ICD.D Primeau drove home the importance of Indigenous participation on corporate boards. Tabatha Bull ICD.D, from Canadian Council for Indigenous Business , shared that businesses engaging with Indigenous communities have shown 20% better outcomes, proving that integrating Indigenous perspectives makes business sense while honoring their role as the original landowners.

Feeling incredibly inspired by meeting so many change-makers, I look forward to continuing to connect, benchmark, and learn from each other. 💡

It was awesome to run into my good friend and climate leader Paul Polman at GLOBE Series #GLOBExCHANGE! We had a great discussion about how more than ever we need hope and resolve, and we need real leaders to step up on climate.

As he put it, “There’s never been a story where the last sentence was: “And then they gave up.”
