From the very beginning, the vision of “Brutkasten” was to provide multimedia support to a growing, innovation-driven community and to support those entrepreneurial minds who want to move this world forward with their innovative ideas, business models and solutions. At the same time, education and orientation on the topic of digitalization was very important to us right from the start, as was networking the “innovation forces” of the young, agile startups with those of the established companies. We believe that this cross-fertilization provides an essential lever for our economy.
We want to promote that. Whether digitally, via social media, in videos, at events or in print products – “Der Brutkasten” wants to offer the lively Austrian startup scene a comprehensive platform with a journalistic core and shape it in constant exchange with them.

“Der Brutkasten” ist der Dreh- und Angelpunkt der österreichischen Startupszene. Jeden Tag produzieren wir mit Hingabe und Sorgfalt Content mit und für Founder, Corporates, InvestorInnen und alle, die Interesse an der heimischen Innovationswirtschaft haben.
Selbst noch ein Startup, sind wir Österreichs Medium für Startups, die digitale Wirtschaft und Innovation. Von Unternehmern für Unternehmer gemacht.
Redaktionell stehen bei uns sowohl die Startups im Fokus, als auch der Kontext, in dem sie sich bewegen. Es geht uns um das Thema Entrepreneurship, um die digitale und innovative Wirtschaft, Technologie, aber genauso um gesellschaftspolitische, zukunftsweisende Themen, die wir in diesem Zusammenhang zu lösen haben werden.
Die Vision von “Brutkasten” war es von Beginn an, eine wachsende, innovationsgetriebene Community multimedial zu begleiten und jene unternehmerisch tätigen Köpfe dabei zu unterstützen, die mit ihren innovativen Ideen, Geschäftsmodellen und Lösungen diese Welt weiter bringen wollen. Damit einhergehend war uns die Aufklärung und Orientierung zum Thema Digitalisierung von Beginn an sehr wichtig, wie auch die Vernetzung der „Innovationskräfte“ der jungen, agilen Startups mit jenen der etablierten Unternehmen. Wir glauben, dass in dieser wechselseitigen Befruchtung ein wesentlicher Hebel für unsere Wirtschaft liegt.
Das wollen wir fördern. Egal ob digital, via Social Media, in Videos, bei den Events oder in Print-Produkten – „Der Brutkasten“ will der lebendigen österreichischen Startup-Szene eine umfassende Plattform mit journalistischem Kern bieten und diese im ständigen Austausch mit ihr gestalten.
