Our main goal is to highlight and present social policy issues through the prism of solidarity, citizenship, human and social rights with a special focus on gender issues.
In addition to this basic pursuit, socialpolicy.gr informs social scientists daily about jobs and career opportunities in organizations in Greece and abroad.
At the same time, it is an informative portal for seminars, educational and postgraduate programs in the social, pedagogical sciences and in the field of psychology.
Innovating, we strive to offer consistent and quality research material in the field of social sciences through important sources of international organizations as well as short studies/articles.
Additionally, we believe that public debate around complex political and social issues often neglects to take into account important social, societal and sociological parameters.
Thus, we try to contribute with positions that have as their main motive social justice, human rights and the fight against inequalities.

Καινοτόμα ιστοσελίδα κοινωνικών επιστημών
Το socialpolicy.gr ολοκλήρωσε δέκα χρόνια λειτουργίας (2013-2023).
Κυριότερος στόχος μας είναι η ανάδειξη και παρουσίαση θεματικών κοινωνικής πολιτικής μέσα από το πρίσμα της αλληλεγγύης, της ιδιότητας του πολίτη, των ανθρωπίνων και κοινωνικών δικαιωμάτων με ιδιαίτερη εστίαση σε ζητήματα φύλου.
Πέραν αυτής της βασικής επιδίωξης το socialpolicy.gr ενημερώνει καθημερινά τους κοινωνικούς επιστήμονες για θέσεις εργασίας και ευκαιρίες καριέρας σε φορείς της Ελλάδας αλλά και του εξωτερικού.
Παράλληλα, αποτελεί μία ενημερωτική πύλη για σεμινάρια, εκπαιδευτικά και μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα στις κοινωνικές, παιδαγωγικές επιστήμες και στον τομέα της ψυχολογίας.
Καινοτομώντας, προσπαθούμε να προσφέρουμε με συνέπεια και ποιότητα ερευνητικό υλικό στο πεδίο των κοινωνικών επιστημών μέσω σημαντικών πηγών διεθνών οργανισμών αλλά και σύντομων μελετών/αρθρογραφιών.
Επιπρόσθετα, θεωρούμε ότι ο δημόσιος διάλογος γύρω από σύνθετα πολιτικά και κοινωνικά ζητήματα συχνά αμελεί να λάβει υπόψιν του σημαντικές κοινωνικές, κοινωνιακές και κοινωνιολογικές παραμέτρους.
Προσπαθούμε, έτσι, να συμβάλλουμε με τοποθετήσεις που έχουν ως κύριο γνώμονα την κοινωνική δικαιοσύνη, τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και την καταπολέμηση των ανισοτήτων.
