The CAUSSES COMPOST association raises awareness, supports and informs individuals, establishments and communities about local composting. It operates in the Community of Communes Millau Grands Causses (15 municipalities / 30,000 inhabitants) but also throughout southern Aveyron.
The association was created in August 2022 from a group of very committed volunteers working since November 2021. With increasingly numerous requests from the community, private actors, public establishments and individuals, the structuring of an association has indeed become essential.
The association is a member of the Citizen Compost Network and Citizen Compost Network Occitanie. -

L'association CAUSSES COMPOST sensibilise, accompagne, informe les particuliers, les établissements et les collectivités au compostage de proximité. Elle intervient sur la Communauté de Communes Millau Grands Causses (15 communes / 30 000 habitants) mais également dans tout le sud Aveyron.
L’association a été créée en Août 2022 à partir d’un groupe de bénévoles très investis œuvrant depuis novembre 2021. Avec des demandes de plus en plus nombreuses de la collectivité, d’acteurs privés, d’établissements publics et de particuliers, la structuration en association s’est en effet imposée.
L'association est membre du Réseau Compost Citoyen et Réseau Compost Citoyen Occitanie.
