PER is the 3rd largest distributor and supplier of natural gas on the Romanian market, with 460 Employees all over the country, being controlled by Ligatne LTD, a Cypriot company, the acquisition vehicle of EMMA Capital.

PER expansion is driven by both acquisitions and organic growth, spotting and capitalizing on each opportunity.
The Group currently operates more than 86 concessions (out of which 20 are greenfield) throughout the country, owns a distribution network spanning around 2,500 km and has over 95,000 active clients in 130 towns and villages. The concessions are focused in and around Bucharest, the southern region, the western and the northern parts of Romania.
EMMA Capital, founded by Jiří Šmejc alongside highly experienced partners, is an international investment group focused on Europe and particularly CSEE region, with a significant presence through Home Credit in Asian markets as well.
Unlike typical Private Equity funds, EMMA is fully flexible in terms of investment horizon and portfolio concentration.
EMMA always targets a significant stake in the companies it invests in (e.g., majority ownership or co-controlling minority) while enhancing the companies with exceptional, proven operational and investment expertise.
