Noi di FIABA Onlus lavoriamo dal 2000 per far capire l’importanza di abbattere le barriere architettoniche e culturali. Il mondo, infatti, non è costruito per tutte le persone.
Anche se negli ultimi venti anni molte cose sono cambiate, il nostro impegno rimane lo stesso. Mettiamo a disposizione la nostra esperienza a chiunque voglia migliorare l’accessibilità di spazi e servizi per le persone con disabilità o a ridotta mobilità.
Molti luoghi sono ancora inaccessibili e non è facile muoversi al loro interno. È l'ambiente a creare gli ostacoli. Per questo promuoviamo una progettazione ispirata ai principi dell’Universal Design, che tiene conto del diritto alla mobilità di tutte le persone.
Il nostro obiettivo è creare le condizioni affinché tutte le persone possano muoversi ovunque liberamente e in autonomia. Abbattere le barriere architettoniche si può. Facciamolo!
