Virtual reality has been used for 20 years in niche industries such as aerospace. Its cost was high and was accessible to few. This has changed as low-cost hardware is now available (Oculus Rift, Hololens...). A whole new market has appeared creating a need for an easy-to-use software package.
The traditional approach is to build different applications for every device: One for VR, one for AR and another for MR (Hololens). This is a waste of time and money. Moreover, there is no interaction between applications. In NucleusVR Digital Twin concept, you build the 3D environment only once and visit it with all available devices AR/VR/MR.
