The Atlanbois association since 1990, provides the animation, promotion and communication of the wood sector in the Pays de la Loire region. Interprofession de la filière bois en Pays de la Loire
L'association Atlanbois depuis 1990, assure l'animation, la promotion et la communication de la filière bois dans la région Pays de la Loire. Avec plus de 400 adhérents professionnels l'association représente la filière bois de la forêt en passant par le meuble, la scierie, la construction, le bois énergie, ... Véritable réseau pour les professionnels, Atlanbois organise de nombreux temps d'échanges : visites d'entreprises, de chantiers de construction, de chaufferie bois énergie, chantiers de replantation en forêt, réunions et conférences thématiques ... mais aussi deux événements plus conséquents :
Habiter Bois à destination du grand public avec pendant un mois des animations autour de la maison individuelle
Le Carrefour International du Bois, salon professionnel qui se déroule tous les 2 ans à Nantes au parc des expositions de la Beaujoire
Atlanbois accueille également tous les publics (professionnels, prescripteurs, particuliers, jeunes en formation, scolaires, ...) au Bâtiment B basé sur l'Ile de Nantes. Véritable vitrine pour tous les professionnels, l'équipe qui assure la médiation au bâtiment B sensibilise à toutes les utilisations du Bois notamment grâce à une exposition permanente In Ze Bois.
