Créée en 1995, l’AIRe milite pour :
- Réunir les personnes concernées par la prise en compte des besoins des enfants, des adolescents et des jeunes adultes qui présentent des difficultés psychologiques, dont l’expression et notamment l’intensité des troubles du comportement perturbe gravement la socialisation et l’accès aux apprentissages.
- Défendre les intérêts et de faire valoir les droits des enfants, des adolescents et des jeunes adultes ainsi que de leurs familles.
- Favoriser la pleine participation et la représentation sociale des personnes accompagnées par les DITEP ainsi que de leurs représentants légaux et leurs organisations représentatives.
- Promouvoir le concept et le fonctionnement en dispositif ITEP.
- Faire valoir une clinique conjuguant institutionnellement les interventions thérapeutiques, éducatives et pédagogiques, prenant en compte la singularité et le choix personnalisé du parcours de vie de chaque jeune accompagné en co-construction avec les représentants légaux.
- Développer une stratégie d’influence dans une logique de co-construction des politiques publiques.
- Réfléchir sur les questions relatives au sens ainsi qu’aux modalités des interventions dans les DITEP.
- Promouvoir les recherches et les formations dans le but de faire évoluer les théories et les pratiques professionnelles.
- Promouvoir et développer toutes actions en faveur de la santé mentale de la jeunesse notamment à travers des actions précoces et de prévention.
- Développer toutes formes de coopérations interinstitutionnelles en faveur d’une société inclusive.
