L’EPADESA porte aujourd’hui l’un des principaux projets de développement et de rayonnement du Grand Paris.
L’Etablissement conduit l’aménagement du projet urbain des opérations d’intérêt national de La Défense et de Seine Arche et initie des développements innovants et concertés. Son périmètre d’intervention se situe sur les communes de Courbevoie, La Garenne-Colombes, Nanterre et Puteaux.

Il accompagne les investisseurs, conçoit, réalise et finance les espaces publics.
Il a également en charge la coordination générale des chantiers sur son périmètre d’intervention.
Créé par décret et ne recevant aucune subvention publique, l’EPADESA s’autofinance grâce à la vente de droits à construire. Il mène ses missions en s’appuyant sur des compétences internes variées : urbanistes, ingénieurs, architectes, géomètres, juristes, financiers, communicants ...
Dans le cadre du projet stratégique 2025, l’EPADESA, l’Etat et les collectivités territoriales dessinent le futur de La Défense Seine Arche pour les 10 prochaines années autour de cinq objectifs :
