XEMBEE is a REV3 labeled project, which relies on schools and laboratories at the universities of Lille and Artois. It is supported by the MEDEE cluster, an Electrical Engineering cluster in Hauts de France.
This wind-based project is innovative thanks to its “agile hardware” approach. It was developed on the principle of “design thinking”.
It consists of the aggregation of micro-power plants, real technological and intelligent modules (Smart Grid compatible), made with sustainable materials.
The advantage is a technically and financially scalable concept, discreetly integrable in both urban and rural areas and combinable with other energy sources.
XEMBEE constitutes a showcase of know-how in Hauts de France, and has international development potential, generating jobs.

XEMBEE est un projet labellisé REV3, qui s'appuie sur des écoles et laboratoires des universités de Lille et d'Artois. Il est soutenu par le pôle MEDEE, cluster en Génie Electrique des Hauts de France.
Ce projet à la base éolien, est innovant grâce à son approche «hardware agile». Il a été développé sur le principe du «design thinking».
Il consiste en l'agrégation de micro-centrales électriques, véritables modules technologiques et intelligents (Smart Grid compatible), fabriqués avec des matériaux durables.
L'avantage est un concept évolutif techniquement et financièrement, intégrable en toute discrétion aussi bien en milieu urbain que rural et combinable avec d'autres sources d'énergie.
XEMBEE constitue une vitrine des savoirs-faire en Hauts de France, et possède un potentiel de développement international, générateur d'emplois.
