Alpha Impulsion is the Toulouse-based space launcher start-up developing a breakthrough technology: hybrid autophage propulsion.
This new architecture allows the rocket fuel to be used as a structure, thus eliminating the need to build tanks, multiple stages, separation systems and other heavy elements that do not contribute to propulsion.

Alpha Impulsion est la start-up toulousaine spécialisée dans le développement de lanceurs spatiaux, qui met au point une technologie révolutionnaire : la propulsion hybride autophage. Cette nouvelle architecture permet d'utiliser le carburant de la fusée comme une structure, éliminant ainsi le besoin de construire des réservoirs, des étages multiples, des systèmes de séparation et d'autres éléments lourds qui ne contribuent pas à la propulsion.
