    Caleosol: a wide range of heating and cooling systems - Low in Carbon, Agile in temperature, Ecologicial. RE2020 ready

    FreeHeat SAS, under its trademark Caleosol, engineers, manufactures and sells a complete new set of ecological systems for heating and cooling, using floors, walls and ceilings in order to
    - reduce the manufacturing cost in CO2 from legacy systems with 100 kg of CO2/sqm down to a few kgs or even giving a negative consumption meaning storing CO2 instead of producing CO2.
    - reduce the "in service" production of CO2 by using agile temperature control systems down to 0.1°c, using geothermal sources to reduce electricity needs and using passive geo-cooling instead of greedy traditional air-con systems
    - eliminate the end of life CO2 cost by using circular economy. Each part of the system can be taken apart to be re-used as-is or recycled as a fresh product or used in compost (for the wood fibre part)
    - for industrial use such as spirulina farming, use of fatal heat from the industry or farm methane production.

    For example, a 14 mm parquet flooring can be installed directly without any concrete (which is evil in CO2 consumption) on the Caleosol ECO+ which can be as slim as 2cm, including a sound-proof insulation of pure wood fibre.
    This system, far from legacy "all concrete" way, can enable new scenarios:
    - Use of the system for all floors, including wood beam floors, as the weight and thickness is minimal (4kg/sqm and 2 cm thick)
    - Use of passive geo-cooling (use of cooling from underground without heat pump) due to its frugal design where legacy systems can’t offer this
    - Use of agile temperature control down to 0.1°c as there is no inertia to battle against. Each °c saved accounting for around 8% of heating consumption (ADEME source)

    FreeHeat SAS puts a lot of effort into projects to offer its customers the best solutions:
    - Software to calculate passive geo-cooling
    - Certification of the use of parquet for cooling and heating with no concrete or glue
    - On-going 3 years R&D project on future geo-cooling systems with main French stake holders

    FreeHeat SAS, sous sa marque commerciale Caleosol développe, fabrique et commercialise de nouveaux systèmes écologiques pour le chauffage et le rafraîchissement utilisant les planchers, murs et plafonds pour :
    - Réduire le coût CO2/m2 de fabrication d’environ 100 kg de CO2 /m2 pour un système traditionnel à quelques kg/m2 voire même consommant du CO2.
    - Eliminer le coût CO2 de fin de vie en utilisant l’économie circulaire. Chaque partie du système peut être réutilisé directement ou recyclé dans chaque filière y compris le compost pour l’isolant
    - Réduire le coût CO2 pendant la durée du service en utilisant une gestion agile de la température avec une précision de 0,1°c, les ressources géothermiques et le geo-cooling passif à la place des climatiseurs trop gourmands.
    - Utiliser la chaleur fatale par exemple dans les applications industrielles de production de Spiruline.
    Par exemple, le parquet de 14 mm peut être directement utilisé sur le Caleosol ECO+ qui ne fait que 2 cm d’épaisseur et « anti-bruit » sans béton ni colle. Ce système, bien loin des solutions traditionnelles ouvre de nouvelles perspectives :
    - Utilisation à tous les étages y compris pour les planchers bois car l’épaisseur (2 cm) et le poids (4 kg/m2) sont minimes.
    - Utilisation du geo-cooling passif sans pompe à chaleur grâce au design frugal là ou les systèmes conventionnels ne fonctionnent pas
    - Utilisation d’un contrôle agile de la température précis à 0,1°c grâce aux objets connectés et à la très faible inertie. L’ADEME estime à 8% le gain de chauffage par °c de chauffage épargné.
    FreeHeat SAS met beaucoup d’efforts pour toujours proposer le meilleur à ses clients :
    - Premier logiciel de calcul du geo-cooling passif
    - Certification des parquets en utilisation chaud et froid sans béton ni colle
    - Programme de R&D de 3 ans sur les futurs systèmes de géo-cooling avec les principaux acteurs du domaine (ADEME, BRGM, AFPG, Terrendis...)
