Handéo, association loi 1901, a été créée en 2007 à l'initiative des principaux organismes du handicap pour libérer le pouvoir d'agir des personnes handicapées et des personnes âgées en leur permettant de vivre pleinement chez elles et dans la cité. Handéo Services œuvre ainsi à la constitution d'un réseau (Cap’Handeo) de professionnels contribuant par leur engagement quotidien au développement d'une offre d'accompagnement compétente et adaptée aux besoins et attentes des personnes handicapées et des personnes âgées dépendantes.
Cette activité de labellisation et certification a notamment pour objectif de garantir l’homogénéité de ces services.
