Territorial Start-Up is a large-scale citizen and entrepreneurial dynamic, which allows the actors of a territory (residents, elected officials, communities, businesses, ESS actors, etc.) to express their dreams and their needs, to invent solutions together and bring them to life!
This dynamic is born from two convictions:
- On the one hand, our societies face major environmental and social challenges,
- On the other hand, the potential for individual and collective commitment to create solutions in the region is immense and underexploited today.
Initiated in 2016, the dynamic is present in 15 territories in France. It enabled the emergence and development of 238 projects with strong social, ecological and solidarity impact, and the commitment of more than 3,800 people in the development of these essential solutions, as close as possible to the issues and needs of citizens.
Created in 2018, the Start-Up de Territoire association runs the network of labeled territories and supports the launch of the dynamic in new territories, carrying the dream of making everyone in France an actor in the transformation of their territory!Original language

Start-Up de Territoire est une dynamique citoyenne et entrepreneuriale de grande ampleur, qui permet aux acteurs d'un territoire (habitants, élus, collectivités, entreprises, acteurs de l’ESS ...) d'exprimer leurs rêves et leurs besoins, d'inventer ensemble des solutions et de leur donner vie !
Cette dynamique est née de deux convictions :
- D’un côté, nos sociétés font face à des défis environnementaux et sociaux majeurs,
- D’un autre côté, le potentiel d’engagement individuel et collectif pour créer des solutions en territoire est immense et sous-exploité aujourd’hui.
Initiée en 2016, la dynamique est présente sur 15 territoires en France. Elle a permis l’émergence et le développement de 238 projets à fort impact social, écologique et solidaire, et l’engagement de plus de 3 800 personnes dans le développement de ces solutions essentielles, au plus proches des enjeux et besoins des citoyens.
Créée en 2018, l’association Start-Up de Territoire anime le réseau des territoires labélisés et accompagne le lancement de la dynamique sur de nouveaux territoires, en portant le rêve de rendre chacun, en France, acteur de la transformation de son territoire !
