The Syndicat du Chocolat, a member of Alliance 7, brings together around sixty companies, from family SMEs to multinationals, producing and marketing chocolate in France. La Syndicat du Chocolat, membre de L'Alliance 7, regroupe une soixantaine d'entreprises de la PME familiale à la multinationale, produisant et commercialisant du chocolat en France. Il s’agit d’entreprises de première et deuxième transformation, fabricants de produits finis, réseaux de boutiques de chocolat ayant plus de 10 magasins.
Créé il y a près d’un siècle et demi, le Syndicat du Chocolat représente 85 % du secteur, 30 000 emplois, dont 15 400 en production, sur une production d’environ 452 000 tonnes.
Le Syndicat accompagne ses entreprises pour agir collectivement sur les grands enjeux de la filière, notamment en matière de qualité produit ; garantit la durabilité du cacao en lien avec les pays producteurs et promeut le chocolat dans toute sa diversité auprès des consommateurs.
