Our objective ? Fondée en Beaujolais en 1998, à l'initiative de viticulteurs et vignerons pionniers et visionnaires, Terra Vitis s'est ainsi développée regroupant désormais plus de 1800 adhérents, viticulteurs et vignerons de toute la France, autour d'une même philosophie : celle de viticulture durable et responsable. Aujourd’hui, sept associations régionales, ancrées dans les grandes bassins viticoles françaises, encadrent la démarche.
Certification pionnère, spécifique à la filière viti-vinicole, reconnue par le Ministère de l'Agriculture et de l'Alimentation, Terra Vitis s'appuie sur un cahier des charges exigeant, évolutif, pensé par des vignerons pour des vignerons, fondé, depuis toujours, sur les trois piliers du développement durable.
Depuis ses origines, elle guide les viticulteurs et viticultrices vers une gestion exemplaire de leur domaine, grâce à une vision d’ensemble, de la vigne au verre, avec pour objectifs de protéger l’homme et son environnement tout en assurant la viabilité économique de l’exploitation.
Notre objectif ? Accompagner viticulteurs et vignerons vers une démarche durable et responsable, afin de produire des raisins et des vins, tout en respectant son environnement, son voisinage, ses salariés et en assurant la pérennité de son exploitation, la transmission de son domaine, son patrimoine, son vignoble et son savoir-faire.
Terra Vitis, c'est donc une démarche pragmatique, de terrain, pensée par des vignerons pour des vignerons, remise en question chaque année, qui répond plus que jamais aux enjeux actuels...mais qui préoccupent nos adhérents depuis bientôt 25 ans !
