MAELAB offers a method for evaluating territorial projects for the production, transformation and recycling of biomass which is based on a tool for modeling biophysical, social and economic processes.
Our modeling solutions, based on the MAELIA platform, make it possible to evaluate in a precise and spatialized manner the ecological, social and economic performances of various projects: installation of methane digesters, integration of legumes in rotations, valorization of new sources of organic fertilizers, installation of hill reservoirs...
We integrate innovative projects into a simulator representing the daily biophysical, agricultural and socio-economic dynamics of the territory studied. We simulate these processes for each agricultural plot and each farm in this territory.

MAELAB propose une méthode d’évaluation des projets territoriaux de production, de transformation et de recyclage des biomasses qui s’appuie sur un outil de modélisation des processus biophysiques, sociaux et économiques.
Nos solutions de modélisation, basées sur la plateforme MAELIA, permettent d’évaluer de façon précise et spatialisée les performances écologiques, sociales et économiques de projets variés : installation de méthaniseurs, intégration de légumineuses dans les rotations, valorisation de nouvelles sources de fertilisants organiques, mise en place de retenues collinaires...
Nous intégrons des projets innovants dans un simulateur représentant les dynamiques journalières biophysiques, agricoles et socio-économiques du territoire étudié. Nous simulons ces processus pour chaque parcelle agricole et chaque exploitation de ce territoire.
