[Automatic translation follows] Drepacare is the first mobile application intended for #sickle cell patients. Sickle cell anemia is the most widespread genetic disease in the world, 50 million people are affected, including 12,000 in France.
Created in 2016 by three entrepreneurs/students in a Master's degree in nutrition and public health in parallel with their careers as pharmacists, nurses and engineers in biotechnology, it aims to facilitate the daily lives of patients with functionalities that help manage treatments, diet, frequency of attacks, hospitalizations.
The idea starting from the observation of a great lack of communication and information on sickle cell anemia, this project also aims to inform and raise awareness as many people as possible.

Drepacare est la premiere application mobile destinée aux #drepanocytaires. La drépanocytose est la maladie génétique la plus répandue au monde, 50 milion de personnes sont atteintes dont 12 000 en France.
Créée en 2016 par trois entrepreneurs/étudiantes en Master de nutrition et santé publique en parallèle de leurs carrières de pharmacienne, infirmière et ingénieurs en biotechnologie elle a pour but de faciliter le quotidien des malades avec des fonctionnalités qui aident à gérer les traitements, l’alimentation, la fréquence des crises, des hospitalisations.
L’idée partant du constat d’un grand manque de communication et d’information sur la drépanocytose, ce projet a également pour objectif d’informer et de sensibiliser le plus grand nombre.
