Shoes That Fit tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play and thrive.

New shoes that fit allow children to fit in with their peers, participate in outdoor activity and concentrate on their schoolwork rather than on their circumstances.

Our national office based in Claremont, CA supports volunteer sponsor groups in 48 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, providing new shoes to more than 120,000 children at over 2,500 schools.

Since our founding in 1992, more than 2 million pairs of new shoes and other necessities have been raised and delivered to children in need through our programs.

With only 9 employees and no government funding, Shoes That Fit has consistently earned the highest 3 and 4-Star ratings over the past decade from Charity Navigator, one of the nation's leading evaluators of nonprofit performance. We have achieved status as a 2014 Top Rated Charity through Great Nonprofits and are Gold Star Participants of GuideStar. We were named California NonProfit of the Year in 2017.
