    The Public Interest Group “4C Maroc”, created ahead of COP 22 by joint decree of the Ministers of Finance and the Environment on October 5, 2016, brings together around thirty institutional actors from various backgrounds involved in the fight against the harmful effects of climate change.

    The 4C Morocco Center is a national platform for dialogue and strengthening the skills of different actors and a hub for information on climate change open to its regional, African and international environment. The GIP constitutive agreement defines the four missions of 4C Morocco as follows:

    1. Contribute to strengthening the capacities of national actors in matters of climate change
    2. Capitalize on information / knowledge / know-how in terms of vulnerability, adaptation, mitigation and finance linked to climate change
    3. Develop decision-making support tools on climate change
    4. Contribute to the global effort by ensuring the sharing of experience, monitoring and networking related to climate change at the international level

    Centre de Compétences en Changement Climatique 4C Maroc

    Le Groupement d’Intérêt Public « 4C Maroc », créé en amont de la COP 22 par arrêté conjoint des Ministres des Finances et de l’Environnement le 5 octobre 2016, réunit une trentaine d’acteurs institutionnels de divers horizons impliqués dans la lutte contre les effets néfastes des changements climatique.

    Le Centre 4C Maroc est une plateforme nationale de dialogue et de renforcement des compétences des différents acteurs et un hub pour les informations en matière de changement climatique ouvert sur son environnement régional, africain et international. La convention constitutive du GIP définit les quatre missions du 4C Maroc comme suit :

    1. Contribuer au renforcement des capacités des acteurs nationaux en matière de changement climatique
    2. Capitaliser l’information / la connaissance / le savoir-faire en matière de vulnérabilité adaptation, atténuation et finance liés au changement climatique
    3. Développer des outils d’aide à la prise de décision en matière de changement climatique
    4. Contribuer à l’effort mondial en assurant le partage d’expérience, la veille et le réseautage en lien avec le changement climatique au niveau international
