With IONA, manufacturers can make sub-millimetre corrections to robot positions and alignment with parts, before costly mistakes are made. This approach can also facilitate simple re-configuration of robot cells, or the use of AGVs, using the IONA data to automatically update robot programs each time a robot or fixture is moved. IONA enables a right-first-time approach, saving time, energy and reducing waste.
