    The Office of Workforce Transformation’s mission is to grow Ohio’s economy by developing a skilled workforce, promoting effective training programs, and connecting Ohio employers with qualified workers.

    Recognizing both the importance of improving Ohio’s workforce development system and the enormity of the challenge, the Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT) was created. The Governor’s Executive Workforce Board was also created to guide the OWT in its work, ensuring that business needs are at the forefront of improvements made to the workforce system.
