BOEi is een non-profit organisatie die zich bezighoudt met herbestemmen van industrieel, religieus en agrarisch erfgoed. Van watertoren tot scheepswerf, van klooster tot herenboerderij. Zij doet dit vanuit verschillende invalshoeken: als investeerder, als ontwikkelaar maar ook als adviseur.

Ook boerderijen en kerken kunnen herbestemd worden. Daartoe heeft BOEi mede Boerderij en Landschap opgericht en werkt BOEi samen met Stichting Behoud en Herbestemming Religieus Erfgoed om het herbestemmen van kerken een impuls te geven. Het maakt hierbij niet uit of deze gebouwen nu beschermd zijn door de overheid of dat het publiek en/of de eigenaar het monument de moeite van behouden waard vindt.
