[Automatic translation follows] Solutions and Technologies for Automated Driving in Town: an urban mobility project
22 companies from the automotive and supplier industries as well as universities and research institutes have joined forces in the joint project. Supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, they will develop concepts and pilot applications for end-to-end automated driving in urban areas tailored to user needs in three years of research until the end of 2025. The focus is on the implementation of new, AI-based methods and their demonstration in automated driving systems, especially in complex traffic situations.

Solutions and Technologies for Automated Driving in Town: an urban mobility project
Im Verbundprojekt haben sich 22 Unternehmen aus Automobil- und Zulieferindustrie sowie Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen zusammengeschlossen. Unterstützt durch das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz entwickeln sie in dreijähriger Forschungsarbeit bis Ende 2025 auf die Nutzerbedürfnisse zugeschnittene Konzepte und Pilotapplikationen des durchgängigen automatisierten Fahrens im urbanen Raum. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Umsetzung neuer, KI-basierter Methoden und deren Demonstration in automatisierten Fahrsystemen, insbesondere bei komplexen Verkehrssituationen.
