    ddn was founded in March 2006 on the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA). The members are made up of companies of all sizes, but also associations, consulting firms, scientific institutions and municipalities. From the beginning, cross-company exchange has been the association's central instrument. In addition to a constantly growing number of thematic working groups, a regional network structure has also developed. We collect experiences and questions, organize exchange forums, develop projects, provide best practices, offer various formats for deepening knowledge, publicize results and award the German Demographics Prize to exemplary innovative projects.

    Gegründet wurde ddn im März 2006 auf Initiative des Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS) und der Initiative Neue Qualität der Arbeit (INQA). Die Mitglieder setzen sich aus Unternehmen aller Größenordnungen, aber auch Verbänden, Beratungsunternehmen, Wissenschaftseinrichtungen oder Kommunen zusammen. Von Beginn an ist der unternehmensübergreifende Austausch das zentrale Instrument des Vereins. Neben einer stetig wachsenden Anzahl von thematischen Arbeitskreisen entwickelte sich auch eine regionale Netzwerkstruktur. Wir sammeln Erfahrungen und Fragen, organisieren Austauschforen, erarbeiten Projekte, stellen Best Practices zur Verfügung, bieten verschiedene Formate zur Wissensvertiefung, machen Ergebnisse bekannt und verleihen den Deutschen Demografie Preis an vorbildliche innovative Projekte.
