Its know-how covers critical steps in the life cycle of battery systems (R&D, Development, & Validation, Certification, Manufacturing). One-sixone accelerates the innovations of its customers and accompanies them in the rise in TRL of their products.
The main activities of One-sixone are:
- Advice: choice of technologies;
- Development of li-ion cell in co-contracting: design choice, prototype manufacturing, performance evaluation and validation, industrialization and product qualification;
- Battery developments: choice of design, prototyping, performance evaluation and validation, industrialisation and product qualification;
- Sourcing: auditing and selection of suppliers, purchasing and monitoring quality of cell and batteries, monitoring and management of obsolescence of materials in order to guarantee performance;
Its activities are based on a two-pronged approach: Top down and Bottom up.
- Top down with a work on the identification of the needs of the application and the definition of the requirements and specifications of the battery system and the key subsystem that is the cell;
- Bottom-up or push technology with work on new technologies or electrochemistry of cell.

Son savoir-faire couvre les étapes critiques du cycle de vie des systèmes batterie (R&D, Développement, & Validation, Certification, Fabrication). One-sixone accélère les innovations de ses clients et les accompagne dans la montée en TRL de leurs produits.
Les activités principales de One-sixone sont les suivantes :
- Conseil : choix des technologies ;
- Développements d’accumulateur/cellule li-ion en co-traitance : choix de design, fabrication de prototypes, évaluation et validation des performances, industrialisation et qualification du produit ;
- Développements de batterie li-ion: choix de design, fabrication de prototypes, évaluation et validation des performances, industrialisation et qualification du produit ;
- Sourcing : audit et sélection de fournisseurs, achat et suivi qualité d’accumulateur/cellule et batteries, suivi et gestion des obsolescences des matériaux afin de garantir les performances ;
Ses activités s’articulent suivant une approche double : Top down et Bottom up.
- Top down avec un travail sur l’identification des besoins de l’application et la définition des exigences et du cahier des charges du système batterie et du sous-système clé qu’est l’accumulateur ou la cellule électrochimique ;
- Bottom-up ou technologie push avec un travail sur de nouvelles technologies ou électrochimie d’accumulateur/cellule électrochimique.
