Our story begins in 1963 when we started working in the heating sector. In 1967 we began to market Swiss ELCO burners. From our beginnings, our premise was to market products of the highest quality and implement them with a personalized service at the same level, with a business vision that is totally customer-oriented.
These first years were characterized by the hope of a work team that would lay the foundations of our corporate philosophy: Lumelco is a big family where we are all very involved and make each project our own.
In order to offer the best service to our clients and meet their needs, we are constantly studying market trends. For this reason, in the 80s we decided to add air conditioning equipment to our portfolio. Continuing with our idea that quality is the most important thing, we signed an exclusivity contract with one of the largest Japanese multinationals: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
In a commitment to renewable energies and respect for the environment, in 2005 we incorporated solar thermal energy from Kingspan Solar and, later, absorption equipment from the manufacturer Broad to our catalogue.
In 2013 we began operating in Portugal and the African PALOP countries, with Lumelco Portugal. And with the aim of continuing to grow, in August 2015 we became the exclusive distributor of dehumidification and ventilation equipment from the Danish manufacturer Dantherm, with which Lumelco Portugal has been working for more than 30 years.
Recently, we have incorporated the LMF brand of heat recovery units from the Italian group Ferraro.
The high experience and technical qualification of our team allows us to find the most appropriate solution for each type of installation, collaborating in the design of the project, its execution and start-up.

Nuestra historia comienza en 1963 cuando empezamos a trabajar en el sector de la calefacción. En 1967 comenzamos a comercializar los quemadores suizos ELCO. Por eso, en los años 80 decidimos incorporar equipos de aire acondicionado a nuestro portafolio. Siguiendo con nuestra idea de que la calidad es lo más importante, firmamos un contrato de exclusividad con una de las mayores multinacionales japonesas: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
En una apuesta por las energías renovables y por el respeto del medio ambiente, en 2005 incorporamos la energía solar térmica de Kingspan Solar y, posteriormente, los equipos de absorción del fabricante Broad a nuestro catálogo.
En 2013 empezamos a operar en Portugal y los países africanos del PALOP, con Lumelco Portugal. Y con el objetivo de seguir creciendo, en agosto de 2015 nos hemos convertido en el distribuidor en exclusiva de equipos de deshumidificación y ventilación del fabricante danés Dantherm, con el que Lumelco Portugal trabajaba desde hace más de 30 años.
Recientemente, hemos incorporado la marca LMF de recuperadores de calor del grupo italiano Ferraro.
