Dispositif ministériel de soutien à l'enseignement scientifique dans les collèges et lycées, et de promotion de la CSTI
« Sciences à l’École » est un dispositif ministériel, fondé en 2004 à l’initiative de l’académicien Pierre Encrenaz et de l’inspecteur général de l’Éducation nationale Jean-Yves Daniel afin de soutenir l'enseignement scientifique dans les collèges et lycées, et de promouvoir la culture scientifique et technique auprès des élèves des voies générale, technologique, professionnelle et ceux des classes post-baccalauréat.
Grâce à ses partenariats avec le monde de la recherche et de l’entreprise, « Sciences à l’École » pilote des actions ayant toutes pour objectif de faire vivre les sciences au plus près des élèves en favorisant l’innovation pédagogique, la créativité, le travail en équipe et les rencontres scientifiques.
Par les actions que le dispositif propose ou accompagne, « Sciences à l’École » contribue au développement des vocations scientifiques chez les jeunes. Plus généralement, « Sciences à l’École » permet d’offrir aux élèves les moyens de mieux appréhender les enjeux scientifiques et technologiques de demain, tout en faisant de l’enseignement scientifique un levier de réussite scolaire et professionnelle.

Prêt de matériel scientifique et accompagnement d’équipes pédagogiques souhaitant mener des projets d’astronomie, de physique des particules, de météorologie, de sismologie, de génomique, d’investigation scientifique en criminologie.
Concours CGénial
Organisation des concours de projets scientifiques « CGénial – collège » et « CGénial – lycée » et de la finale nationale correspondante en partenariat avec la fondation CGénial.
Olympiades internationales
Pilotage de la sélection et de la préparation des délégations françaises pour les Olympiades Internationales de Chimie, de Géosciences et de Physique – compétitions internationales annuelles de haut niveau dans ces disciplines.
