PNICube, che oggi conta piu di 50 associati tra Università e incubatori accademici, è l’Associazione che riunisce gli incubatori e le business plan competition (denominate Start Cup) accademiche italiane, nata con l’obiettivo di stimolare la nascita e accompagnare al mercato nuove imprese ad alto contenuto di conoscenza di provenienza universitaria.
L’Associazione PNICube è promotrice di due importanti iniziative: il Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione – PNI, che seleziona le migliori idee d’impresa innovative, e l’evento Italian Master Startup Award (Ex “Start Up dell’Anno”) che premia la giovane impresa Hi-Tech che ha conseguito il maggior successo di mercato.
Dal 2020 la sede operativa del #PNI è presso Almacube, incubatore e hub innovativo dell'Università di Bologna e di Confindustria Emilia Area Centro.
